My name is Courtney R. Young and I'm a 25 year old college grad (Go Monarchs). I have a BS in Speech Language Pathology & Audiology with a minor in Special Education.

When I was in college I thought I knew exactly what I wanted from life. But the biggest lesson I learned is that no plan is ever set in stone. 

 

I was inspired to make this site during my natural hair journey. I wanted to give my community a resource for all things natural hair. But on that journey I discovered that I have so much more to offer.

 

I want this to be a safe space for people to come and learn new things. To try new things. To be that person that they've always seen themselves as. It's time to stop playing it safe and go hard! We only have one life to live so starting today, let's inspire our intentions and get to living!
