MY GRADUATION PICTURES!!!
I finally made it! I am officially graduating from college in 14 days, and I could not be more elated. This has definitely been a challenging journey but I am beyond proud of myself. Thank you to my parents for setting a good foundation from day one and instilling into me how important education is. Thank you to my friends who have been there through it all. And thank you to my past, present and future self. Thank you for consistently believing in me and pushing me (sometimes too hard), but girl it was worth it. I know sometimes you feel your efforts are insufficient but here in this moment I am telling you, you did an amazing job. To my past self, thank you for getting me here. To my present self congratulations. And to my future self, I hope you look back on this moment and remember exactly how it made you feel, which is proud, intelligent and like a strong black woman. Enjoy my photos from my 2018 graduation from Old Dominion University with a bachelor of science degree in speech language pathology/ audiology and a minor in special education!
